CES Green Team
The Cambridge Elementary Compost Program continues to grow into a sustainable system that will be maintained by the new CES "Green Team."
The Green Team is a volunteer group of students that get trained to help with food waste
at lunch. They help students know which remaining parts of their lunches are recyclable, compostable, and what items belong in the trash. They work together to help keep
over 400 milk cartons and fruit cups from hitting the landfill as well as over
25 pounds of food out of the landfill each day!
